Job summary

CARTERS Glenfield branch is seeking a detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to own stock accuracy, maintain minimum levels, and ensure processes align with best practice. You report to the Branch Manager and will handle orders, stock checks, supplier relations, and goods-in checks, contributing to a safe, efficient, customer‑facing operation.

This hands-on role rewards initiative, accurate operations, and teamwork in a busy NZ branch environment.

Qualifications

• Inventory and/or purchasing experience is desirable.
• Capable with computers and technology.
• Strong customer-first attitude and teamwork.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to prioritise in a busy branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Place orders with suppliers, verify prices, and keep FINOPS records accurate.
• Run stock checks, daily/monthly FINOPS reports, and participate in branch stocktakes.
• Manage ongoing supplier relationships by resolving issues promptly, managing credit requests and keeping preferred supplier arrangements on track.
• Check deliveries against packing slips and keep the goods-in area well organised.
• Follow up outstanding purchase orders, confirmations and apply freight charges correctly.
• Identify hazards and help maintain a safe working environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
• Support the team and engage with customers both in person and via inbound calls.

Our CARTERS Glenfield branch is on the hunt for a detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to become part of the team. You will report directly to the Branch Manager and take ownership of stock accuracy, making sure records are correct, minimum stock levels are kept up to date, and every process lines up with best practice and company standards.

This is a hands-on role where precision and initiative aren't just nice-to-haves, they shape how the branch runs and how customers experience it. If you are someone who thrives on variety, systems, stock, and people, we would love to hear from you.

• Running regular stock checks, daily/monthly FINOPS reports, and participating in branch stocktakes
