Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety in Tauranga is seeking a frontline leader to coordinate daily operations, supervise the team, and deliver excellent customer service at the Trade Centre.

You will drive safe, efficient processes, support staff development and ensure consistent, accurate service from enquiry through delivery. A strong customer focus and leadership drive are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, trade sales or customer service.
• Experience supporting or leading others, or capable of frontline leadership.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily workloads and keep the team focused on priorities.
• Supervise, motivate and support team members to hit targets.
• Support performance discussions, training and inductions for new staff.
• Lead regular communication on progress and Trade Centre priorities.
• Lead professional selling and customer service by example.
• Handle enquiries, quotes and orders accurately and efficiently from enquiry to delivery.
• Resolve customer concerns and share leads with Account Managers.
• Monitor back orders and support timely action and follow-up.
• Support stock availability, stock optimisation and stocktakes.
• Maintain merchandising, Trade Centre presentation and security standards.
• Support delivery performance and branch processes.
• Promote health, safety and environmental culture; lead by example.

About the opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with retail, trade sales or customer service experience who is ready to take on more responsibility, develop their leadership skills and help a great team deliver for our customers.

Working alongside the Trade Centre Manager, you'll help coordinate daily operations, supervise and motivate the team, solve customer problems and ensure the Trade Centre runs smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will lead by example and help deliver professional, accurate and timely service every time.

What you'll be doing

Lead and support the team

• Coordinate daily workloads and keep the team focused on priorities.
• Supervise, motivate and support team members to achieve their targets.
• Support performance discussions, development, training and new-starter induction.
• Lead regular communication around progress, opportunities and Trade Centre priorities.

Deliver great customer experiences

• Lead professional selling and customer service by example.
• Take ownership of customer transactions from enquiry through to delivery and follow-up.
• Ensure enquiries, quotes and orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Help resolve customer concerns and share customer leads and information with Account Managers.

Drive operational excellence

• Monitor back orders and support timely action and follow-up.
• Support stock availability, stock optimisation and successful stocktakes.
• Help maintain strong merchandising, Trade Centre presentation and security standards.
• Support delivery performance and accurate, efficient branch processes.

Champion safety

• Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture.
• Lead by example in safe working practices.
• Help ensure the Trade Centre operates in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
