Job summary

PlaceMakers is seeking an Account Manager in Auckland to own and grow an established trade customer portfolio, with a strong emphasis on building relationships within the Fijian Indian community and the broader construction network. The role involves visiting sites, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored building solutions.

Ideal candidates will have proven sales or account management experience, fluency in Fiji Hindi and English, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
• Fluency in Fiji Hindi and English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with ability to use multiple systems.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction processes.
• Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel across Auckland region.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full sales process, turning leads into loyal customers.
• Develop relationships with trade customers and the Fijian Indian community.
• Visit sites and attend industry events to identify opportunities.
• Partner with customers to tailor solutions that grow their business.
• Travel regularly to support customers locally and district-wide.
