Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is seeking two enthusiastic team members for the Tools & Power Garden Department. You will help customers choose the right drill, lawn mower, trimmer, or hand tool, and deliver great advice and outstanding service.

The role suits someone with a passion for tools, DIY, and outdoor power equipment, and who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, varied department. Training and development are provided, with a stable roster and set days.

Qualifications

• A passion for tools, DIY, or outdoor power garden products.
• Previous knowledge or hands-on experience with tools and power garden equipment is highly desirable.
• A friendly and approachable personality with strong customer service skills.
• A team player who is willing to pitch in where needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential.

Available Positions

Full-Time Role

• 40 hours per week
• Sunday to Thursday roster

Part-Time Role

• 16 hours per week
• Friday and Saturday roster
