Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is inviting applications for fixed‑term Garden Department Team Members from Oct 2026 to Mar 2027. Two rosters: 40 hours per week (Sunday–Thursday) and 20 hours per week (Friday–Monday).

You will assist customers in all garden areas, keep displays well stocked, water and care for plants, and help the team maintain a high standard throughout the department.

Qualifications

• Experience helping customers with gardening products.
• Ability to maintain attractive displays.
• Comfortable with lifting and manual handling.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers across all areas of the garden department.
• Maintain well-stocked displays and keep displays attractive.
• Water and care for plants.
• Support team to maintain department standards.
