Job summary

Macpac Wanaka is seeking a Third In Charge (3IC) to join our close-knit team. Bring retail experience, people skills and a passion for the outdoors. Supervisory or team-leader background is highly regarded, with a supportive Store Manager and team.

Enjoy free parking, great merchandise, and a chance to grow your leadership within a large national retailer. This is a permanent part-time role with 4 days and 30 hours, including weekday and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead by example and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and motivational skills to inspire a team.
• Experience supervising or coordinating a retail team is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop store team in a fast-paced outdoor retail environment.
• Lead by example to ensure high standards of customer service and sales.
• Plan and deliver staff training, floor merchandising, and daily operations.
• Assist with stock control, health and safety, store security and basic financial reporting.
