Job summary

Macpac Wanaka is seeking a Third In Charge (3IC) to bring your retail experience, people skills and passion for the outdoors to a close-knit team. Supervisor or Team Leader experience is highly regarded.

You’ll have a fantastic Store Manager and team to support and develop you, plus free parking and plenty of great merch along the way!

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead by example and provide the best customer service.
• Motivational, inspirational leadership to drive the team.
• Confident managing differing personalities in a team.
• Strong delivery of ongoing training and driving floor sales.
• Experience with visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, store security and basic financial reporting.
• Outdoor clothing/equipment experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing retail team on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Manage stock, merchandising and loss-prevention practices.
• Support Store Manager in daily operations and planning.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and mentor junior staff.
