Macpac is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Queenstown to lead a hands-on team, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive KPIs under the Store Manager's mentorship. You’ll foster a high-performing environment and model best practices on the shop floor.

You will supervise daily operations, train staff, manage stock and merchandising, champion health and safety, and ensure a safe, engaging shopping experience for locals and visitors alike.

As an Assistant Manager, you're key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have:

• Management or supervisor experience.
• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• An ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.

Having experience with outdoor clothing and equipment is not essential... a passion for the outdoors or travel is preferable.
