Job summary

Ambius in New Zealand is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales growth in the Auckland region. You will acquire new business, present plant-based design solutions, and implement sales plans to hit targets.

You will engage clients to identify needs, build strong relationships, and manage a robust sales pipeline with a consultative approach. Permanent NZ work rights are required; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

Our Ambius team creates plant decor in hotel lobbies, plant clusters in shopping centres, green walls and bespoke designs in restaurants and office receptions. In short, we provide interior plantscaping for organisations of any size, engaging clients and staff through the health benefits of plants.

As a Territory Manager, your responsibilities will be to build on existing client relationships while using your outstanding acquisition skills and outgoing personality to win new sales in your territory. You will use a consultative approach to build customer advocacy and deliver consultations to maximise selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving sales revenue by acquiring new business opportunities
• Creating, presenting, and selling Ambius product and design solutions
• Developing and implementing sales plans to achieve set sales targets
• Engaging new and existing customers to determine their needs according to preference and budgetary limits
• Building strong customer relationships and managing a sales pipeline

What We Are Looking For:

• A flair for interior design and indoor plantscaping
• Outgoing and has an interest in beingcreativeand slightly eccentric
• Demonstrated ability to invest in a successful team environment
• Ability to listen and translate customer visions into design solutions
• Proven track record of cold-calling and planning sales territory
• Excellent sales, solutions & negotiation skills
• Proven track record of success in sales
• Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels

You will be welcomed into a friendly and competitive team that are highly motivated and focused on meeting KPIs and achieving goals. You will be given full product training, with hands‑on assistance from the Sales Manager and the Ambius Operations team.
