Job summary

Rentokil Initial plc's Ambius Auckland team is seeking an operational expert to lead field service operations and develop the team to reach full potential. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety culture, and delivering on the operational plan.

You will manage a small team, oversee logistics, service delivery, and budgeting, while fostering continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships to drive client satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications

• A demonstrated commitment to safety and a proven track record in building a safety culture.
• You may be currently in a Supervisory role or possess previous operational experience in a supervisory or management position within the service industry.
• Strong operational principles and experience managing logistics and scheduling systems.
• To be an engaging leader with experience in coaching and developing team members with the willingness to be a 'hands on' leader where required.
• Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, completing priorities and work demands.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage budgets and costs.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against targets, KPI’s and cost efficiencies.
• The ability to positively challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement.

ABOUT AMBIUS

Our Ambius team are the people responsible for the lovely plant decor in hotel lobbies, the clusters of plant designs in shopping centres, the green walls andfloral displaysyou see in many restaurants and office receptions. In summary we are responsible for providing any sized organisation withinterior/exterior landscaping which engages clients and their staff through the health benefits of plants!

This is a key management position that requires a very hands-on approach and is responsible for all operational aspects of our Ambius product lines. Reporting directly to the Business Manager and leading a team including 3 direct reports, you will be responsible for the following outcomes:
