Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a practical Service Team Leader to guide a team of pest technicians across Christchurch and the Upper South Island. The role focuses on execution, people support, and service quality, ideal for someone moving into leadership with hands-on involvement.

You will lead ~10 technicians, coach performance, monitor quality, and coordinate scheduling while ensuring safety. Occasional travel to Nelson/Marlborough may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisor role (service or operations environment) preferred.
• Hands-on and close to the team, not purely strategic.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
• Confidence in handling day-to-day people matters and customer interactions.
• Good organisation and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in developing people and building team culture.
• Full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence with a clean record.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a team of ~10 field technicians, providing day-to-day guidance and support
