Job summary

HEB Construction in Amberley, Canterbury seeks a dedicated team member to participate in a 24/7 call-out roster. The role requires availability for day and night work, emergency responses, weather events, and unplanned maintenance.

You will operate Tail Pilot vehicles, support road crews, and help keep work zones safe and efficient. Essential qualifications include a Full Class 1 Driver Licence and a strong safety mindset.

• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections and ensure operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leaders, crew members, and road users.
• Promote a strong safety culture and comply with all company and client requirements.
• Contribute to the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of maintenance activities across the network.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence.

Highly Desirable

• Previous experience in Temporary Traffic Management
• Experience operating Tail Pilot vehicles.
• Class 2 Driver Licence
• Experience in roading, civil construction, or maintenance environments.
