Job summary

Infratel Networks Ltd. in New Zealand seeks a Telecommunications Technical Rigger to install, commission and maintain mobile network infrastructure across NZ. You will work on 4G/5G sites, antennas, microwave and fibre installations, and lead safety-focused field operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years proven Telecommunications rigging experience.
Working at Heights certification.
Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
Strong understanding of mobile telecommunications infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret site designs and technical documentation.
Strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices.
Ability to travel throughout New Zealand and Internationally.
Physically fit and capable of climbing telecommunications structures.

Responsibilities

Install antennas, feeders, mounts and associated telecommunications equipment.
Complete mobile network upgrades and technology refresh programmes.
Install and commission radio and transmission systems.
Complete equipment swaps, configuration support and network integration activities.
Perform structured cabling and fibre optic installation activities.
Undertake maintenance, fault finding and corrective works.
