Job summary

Working In in Auckland is seeking a skilled Rigger for a permanent full-time role. You will work on heavy machinery installation, rigging, and crane/hoist coordination, ensuring safe and precise positioning of components. This position requires travel and potential out-of-town assignments.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of rigging experience with certification, a Class 5 licence, and a strong reliability. A company medical and drug test are prerequisites for employment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Rigging experience and relevant certification as a Rigger.
• Class 5 licence or equivalent.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Hard working and reliable.
• A team player and must not have previous criminal conviction.
• Ability to travel and work out of town for lengthy periods as required.
• Overseas applications will be considered for this role.
• A company Medical with Drug test is a prerequisite for employment.

Responsibilities

• Experience in installation and assemble equipment/heavy machines particularly in heavy overweight operations.
• Rigging and operational experience with heavy jacking and hydraulic equipment, especially Hydraulic Gantry Lifting Systems, is critical in this role.
• Direct crane or hoist operators during lifting, positioning, and alignment of metal components.
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, lifting devices, and safety harness systems.
• Check completed installations for alignment, stability, and compliance with site safety standards
• Class 5 truck and trailer duties as and when required
