Job summary

Endura Mining seeks a Mine Surveyor for Snowy River Mine on the West Coast. The role covers development and production mark-ups, laser installation, and ensuring accurate surface/topography data for reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of underground surveying experience, knowledge of narrow vein mining, and a qualification as a Surveyor or Spatial Engineer. Deswik experience and a valid NZ driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years underground surveying experience required.
• Knowledge of narrow vein mining and/or open stopping operations preferred.
• Qualified Surveyor or Spatial Engineer; NZ CoC favorable.
• Experience using surveying software such as Deswik.
• Current Drivers License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct development and production mark-ups, laser installation and end-of-month pickups to support mine design and mining activities.
• Process and validate spatial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to preparation and maintenance of statutory mine plans and documentation in line with WorkSafe regulations.
• Provide timely and accurate survey plans and data to mine planning, geology and production teams.
• Maintain safety by proactively reporting hazards and leading by example.

The Role

Endura is looking for a Mine Surveyor at our Snowy River Mine on the West Coast. The Mine Surveyor will be involved all aspects of survey needed at the Snowy River site including laser install, mining instructions & pickups,production markups & scans as required, surface topography work for reporting and statutory reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct development and production mark-ups, laser installation and end-of-month pickups on a frequent basis to support mine design operational mining activities.
• Process andvalidatespatial data in line with QA/QC protocols to ensure accuracy and compliance with survey control standards and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of statutory mine plans and documentation in compliance with WorkSafe mining regulations.
• Providetimelyandaccuratesurvey plans,dataand support to mine planning,geologyand production teams to enable safe and efficientmineexecution.
• Maintain a positive attitude to safety, leading by example in reporting and management of hazards in the workplace.
• Undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned.
• Participate in safety and environmental verification activities and inspections.

About You

• Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years underground experience, metalliferous surveying preferred.
• You have knowledge and experience in narrow vein mining and/or open stopping operations.
• Your will be a qualified Surveyor or Spatial Engineer. Statutory survey qualifications such as New Zealand CoC are viewed favorably.
• You have previous experience using surveying software such as Deswik.
• Current Drivers License with clean record.
