Job summary

Belron New Zealand (Smith&Smith Westgate) is seeking an Autoglass Technician for a fixed-term role from October 2026 to April 2027. The 30‑hour roster covers Monday to Sunday, with full training provided and ongoing support to grow essential automotive skills.

You will repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass, deliver expert advice to customers, and participate in a rewards programme and career development opportunities within the Belron group.

Qualifications

• No Autoglass repair experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Clean driver’s license is a minimum requirement.
• Unrestricted right to work in New Zealand.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening required.

• Location: Smith&Smith Westgate
• Hours: 30 hours, rostered across Monday - Sunday
• Fixed term: October 2026 - April 2027

What we’re looking for

• Motivated people with a passion for hands‑on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.
• A passion for exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value‑added products and services.
• Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.
• A clean driver’s license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.
• You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening test.
