Job summary

Eagers Automotive Limited in Grey Lynn, Auckland, invites a dedicated Qualified Automotive Technician to join our service centre. You will diagnose, repair mechanical faults and service vehicles, with access to the latest technology and EV training partnerships.

We offer a 40‑hour week with overtime and Saturday work, a remuneration package with incentives up to NZD 8,000 per annum, ongoing training, career progression, staff discounts, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a qualified automotive technician.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and service vehicles.
• WOF certification preferred.
• Problem solving, accuracy and quality focus.
• Interpret technical specifications and diagrams accurately.
• Full clean New Zealand Driver Licence and strong communication.
• Calm under pressure and customer‑facing skills.

The successful applicant will be able to display the following attributes:

• At leasttwo years’ experienceworking as aqualified technician
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults and performing automotive vehicle services
• WOF certification is preferable, but not a must
• Ability to problem solve, troubleshooting skills and a focus on accuracy and quality
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and diagrams accurately
• Full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Calm under pressure and enjoys a challenge
