Job summary

Ebbett Tauranga is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our established team. You will perform servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard on modern vehicles, including Hyundai, Isuzu and BYD, within a supportive team.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with no weekend work, offering ongoing manufacturer training, a values-based culture and opportunities to develop your skills and career.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Confidently undertake more involved engine, transmission and driveline repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve common mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.

What We Need

• 2+ years of experience post Level 4 Trade Qualification.
• Strong practical, nuts-and-bolts mechanical experience.
• Sound diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Pride in your workmanship and a reliable, practical approach.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• WOF Certification preferred but not essential.
