Job summary

Jora New Zealand – Hamilton is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our premium dealership team in Hamilton. You will service and repair a range of customer and dealership vehicles, using modern workshop equipment and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

You’ll work independently and with a collaborative team, with ongoing paid training and rostered weekend work. A NZQF Level 4 Motor Trade qualification or 3 years’ experience is preferred, and a current NZ driver’s license

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician with NZQF Level 4 Motor Trade qualification (or international equivalent).
• 3+ years’ experience as an Automotive technician is acceptable.
• Franchised brand training is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs on customer and dealership vehicles.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Complete tasks efficiently and within timeframes.
• Use workshop tools and equipment with care and precision.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Automotive Technician with relevant NZQF Level 4 Motor trade qualification (or international equivalent) OR at least 3 years’ experience as an Automotive technician
• Previous experience in a franchise dealership workshop
• Franchised brand training is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern workshop equipment
• Current and clean New Zealand (or international equivalent) driver’s license.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
• Ability to service and repair a variety of makes and models
• WOF certification is desirable but not essential
• Applicants must be New Zealand residents.
