Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance or underwriting experience.
- ANZIIF qualification (or working towards it).
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to influence, build, and manage internal relationships.
- Experience across non-consumer lines (SME, corporate, specialty).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical underwriting advice and guidance.
- Support quality business acceptance and drive efficiency initiatives.
- Craft bespoke insurance solutions, including co-insurance.
- Gain exposure to quota share arrangements and manage capacity and retention.
- Collaborate with other underwriters for end-to-end underwriting insights.
