Job summary

FMG invites applications for a Senior Claims Adviser in our Christchurch Claims team on a fixed-term contract through to January 2028. The role leads by example, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members, and delivers exceptional claims service while improving processes.

You will work rotating Saturday shifts (8:30–4:30) and a rotating weekday shift (10:30–18:30 every six weeks), build strong stakeholder relationships, stay compliant with FMG Best Practices and the Fair

FMG has an exciting opportunity in the Claims Team for a Senior Claims Adviser for our Christchurch based Claims team fixed term contract through to January 2028.

The Senior Claims Adviser role involves leading by example, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to other Claims team members. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional claims service and improving current processes to enhance service quality.

Please note - as a Senior Claims Adviser you will be required to work a rotating Saturday shift (8.30am - 4.30pm) and a rotating 10.30am to 6.30pm shift (every six weeks).
