Job summary

Sika Australia is seeking motivated Technical Sales Representatives to join our growing team, with opportunities across Sydney, Queensland and Victoria. This role combines technical product knowledge with relationship-building to deliver innovative solutions in the building materials sector.

Based on the customer site and in the field, you will develop key accounts, provide technical guidance, prepare quotations and manage the sales pipeline while travelling within the territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, business development or account management.
• Exposure to construction, building materials, construction chemicals, concrete or related industry.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the confidence to manage your territory independently.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Drive sales growth and achieve agreed sales targets across your territory.
• Provide technical product advice and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, builders, specifiers and other industry stakeholders.
• Identify market trends, competitor activity and opportunities to expand Sika's market presence.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations and technical training sessions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal technical, marketing and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts and reporting.
