Job summary

Sika Australia is seeking motivated Technical Sales Representatives to join our growing team with opportunities across Sydney, Queensland and Victoria. Based in New Zealand and open to relocating to Australia, you will develop and maintain strong client relationships while driving sales growth in the construction materials sector.

You will provide technical product advice, identify opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experiences across the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or account management within building materials, construction chemicals or related industries.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage territory independently.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Drive sales growth and achieve agreed sales targets across your territory.
• Provide technical product advice and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, builders, specifiers and other industry stakeholders.
• Identify market trends, competitor activity and opportunities to expand Sika's market presence.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations and technical training sessions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal technical, marketing and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts and reporting.
