Job summary

DuluxGroup Ltd. is seeking a commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to join the Specialised Construction Products team in the lower South Island (Oamaru - Dunedin - Queenstown).

The role focuses on growing sales and specifications across our exterior plaster and cladding systems by partnering with architects, designers, builders and contractors. The position can be based in Queenstown or Dunedin and is expected to commence in January.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with a strong ability to build and grow customer relationships.
• Commercially minded with a passion for winning new business.
• Experience within construction, plastering, cladding, coatings or related building products.
• Strong communication, networking and stakeholder management skills.
• Consultative, solution-focused mindset with ability to learn and apply technical product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify specification opportunities and grow market share across the region.
• Build relationships with architects, builders, contractors and plasterers.
• Win new business while developing existing accounts.
• Provide technical advice, training and project support.
