Atlas Copco is seeking a results-driven Sales Specialist to lead the North Island territory in New Zealand. You will grow market coverage, drive sales and build lasting customer relationships while promoting our Oil Free Air solutions.
You will deliver technical knowledge on compressed air equipment, respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, close sales and work with in-house teams to meet targets. The role is autonomous with field visits and strong CRM usage.

Grow the market coverage, market share, and overall sales of Oil Free Air division (compressed air, air treatment, industrial cooling, and energy conversion) within the defined sales territory.
Main Responsibilities:
Reach Sales Targets and improve Customer satisfaction
This position is responsible for the entire North Island territory, driving sales growth and customer engagement through strategic market segmentation.
Will be the face of the Atlas Copco brand to our customers, and you will develop and maintain good customer relationships in the local market.
Develop rapport and talk your customers’ language’ to gain credibility whilst identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing customer relationships.
Deliver technical knowledge to your customers about our compressed air equipment’s and services. Respond to sales enquiries, preparing quotes, close sales and maintain your customer database are a part of your day-to-day tasks; which will be carried out at a professional level of service.
The role is autonomous with plenty of freedom to determine your own schedule, planning your day and making frequent visits to existing and potential customers and liaising with our in-house support teams.
Frequent use of our Sales tools/CRM
Effectively use our top-class CRM platform which will be your compass to drive all these business development activities.
Provide regular customer visit reports, market analysis and timely, accurate market information will support management's development of business strategy.
Projects
You will also have the opportunity to be part of ad-hoc project work and you will liaise with colleagues from other divisions to maximize our customer relationships and business outcomes wherever possible

Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in technical sales, field service, engineering support, aftermarket services, or a similar customer-facing technical role
The ability to liaise with a range of customers; Be an active listener and an excellent communicator with a strong command of the English language
Have a competitive streak that makes you want to perform your best
Active involvement to drive and develop company culture both regionally with your cross-functional team and within the Oil Free team
You are flexible and adaptable, and able to response swiftly to your customers’ needs
Ideally, you will have an industrial sales and engineering background with a high level of general administration, reporting and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Proposify)
A full, clean driver’s license is a must

Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week)
Salary range: $75,000–$90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
