Job summary

Seequent Limited seeks a Senior Director of Technology Operations to lead central technology operations, build and run shared infrastructure, and ensure secure, scalable software delivery. You will partner with product engineering to align security, reliability and cost with business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in software engineering leadership roles leading infrastructure or security teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own Technology Operations roadmap balancing reliability, security, resilience and cost.
• Build and operate shared platform capabilities including cloud foundations, CI/CD, tooling, runtime platforms, observability, HPC, and AI/ML environments.
• Establish and oversee AppSec programme across products and platforms with secure development practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Direct secure build/deploy systems with security checks in CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable software delivery.
• Set platform reliability targets (SLOs/SLAs), drive continuous improvement with data and post-incident learning.
• Own security and readiness of production/build infrastructure including monitoring, access controls, and incident prep.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews, driving preventative improvements across services.
• Ensure security-by-design and vulnerability management with Security, Legal and customer-facing teams for audits and evidence gathering.
• Manage SaaS tooling, FinOps and cost-optimization across cloud/vendor usage.
