Job summary

LinkPeople is seeking an exceptional people leader to inspire and guide a team delivering housing solutions for people experiencing homelessness in South Auckland. Based in Manukau, you will collaborate with health and social services partners to secure safe, affordable housing and better wellbeing outcomes.

You will bring strong leadership, a solid understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and experience in NGO/community settings.

Qualifications

Exceptional people leader and confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and working with Māori.
Proven ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
Registered Health Professional in Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or similar.
Understanding of the mental health system and NGO/community sector in Auckland region.

Responsibilities

Lead a team providing housing support and services to people experiencing homelessness.
Collaborate with partner organisations in health and social services to deliver housing solutions.
Support staff development and coaching to foster a positive, wellbeing-focused workplace.
Engage with communities to identify housing needs and facilitate access to housing options.
Promote wellness and recovery principles in service delivery.
