- Work in partnership with other agencies, including our partnerorganisations’in the health and social services space, to develop supportive peer relationships and collaborative service delivery.
- Lead a team who work alongside people who have housing needs and require support to achieve housing stability.
- Lead a teamwhich:
- Provides support to peopleexperiencinghomelessness
- Works alongside people toidentifyhousing needs and supports them to access housing options
- Supports people to sustain their housing to prevent homelessness and remain well.
- Has strong relationships and collaboration within our communities.
- Seek opportunities to engage staff through effective coaching and ongoing development while creating a positive team culture where achievements are celebrated, and people are valued.
This is a full-time position working40 hoursper week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00pm. This role will be basedinManukau andinvolvesworking across South Auckland.
- An exceptional people leaderandconfident communicator and relationship builder
- Knowledge of and commitment toTeTiriti oWaitangi principles and working with Māori
- Proven ability and experience in inspiring and leading a team effectively
- A Registered Health Professional: Social Worker, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, etc.
- An understanding of the mental health system and sector within theAucklandregion, including the NGO and community sector.
- The knowledge and experience to support staff who choose towork usingTeAoMaoriframeworks
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- An understandingofandthe ability to apply theprinciples of wellness and recovery
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar role.
- Competency with Microsoft Office.
