Job summary

Te Taumata seeks a strong leader to take strategic and operational responsibility for the Housing & Wellbeing team. You will set direction, grow people, oversee referrals, caseload allocation and service coordination, while protecting tikanga and manaakitanga in every decision.

You don't need to be the clinical expert; your role is to enable high-quality practice by coaching, building capability, and maintaining high standards within a large, experienced team dedicated to community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a sizeable team and strong strategic capability.
• Experience growing capability and improving culture in busy environments.
• Knowledge of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for the Housing & Wellbeing service and shape workforce planning.
• Lead, coach and grow staff; oversee referrals, caseload allocation and service coordination.
