Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a permamnent, full-time Team Leader, Graduation Services to join Tītoko- Student Success. The role is responsible for the management and oversight of graduation services for all students; to ensure consistency, quality and efficiency of service to relevant stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the University's graduation services, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for students, whānau, staff, and stakeholders.
- Manage graduation operations, including conferment processes, Council documentation, communications, records, and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partnering across the University to deliver successful graduation outcomes and ceremonies.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team, fostering a high-performing, student-centred culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence by reviewing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the integrity of graduation and qualification data.
- Manage complex enquiries and issues, providing expert advice and ensuring responsive, accurate, and student-focused service delivery.
