Job summary

Kiwibank in Waikato is seeking a Team Leader to partner with the Bank Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience on site. You’ll coach, empower and develop a frontline team, guiding daily coaching, feedback and change navigation to build capability across the team.

You’ll lead by example, focus on learning, collaboration and continuous improvement, and help your people deliver helpful, efficient service that meets customers’ needs while supporting the bank’s purpose and growth plans.

As a Team Leader, you’ll work closely with the Bank Manager to provide onsite leadership and bring an outstanding customer experience to life. You’ll create a culture of learning, empowerment and collaboration, building capability across the team through hands-on coaching, regular feedback and supportive leadership.

You’ll help the team deliver helpful, efficient service while ensuring customers are connected with solutions that meet their needs. You’ll also take ownership when customer issues arise, support continuous improvement and help your people confidently navigate change.
