Yoobee Colleges seeks a part-time Teaching Assistant for the Master of Management programme at the Christchurch Colombo Street Campus. You will support delivery of teaching, student engagement, and learning activities, working with lecturers to foster a positive academic environment.
The role involves assisting with tutorials, grading support, and setting up online platforms, with weekend/evening sessions as required.

Teaching Assistant - Master of Management
Location: Christchurch
Part-time | Fixed-term | Yoobee Colombo Street Campus
Please note: This is a fixed-term, part-time role working 13 hours per week: 3 hours on Friday, 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday.
About the role:
The Teaching Assistant will assist in the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning support, and student engagement for the Master of Management Programme. The Teaching Assistant will support lecturers and students to foster a positive and effective academic environment, contribute to the administrative and practical aspects of teaching, and uphold academic standards aligned with Yoobee’s values and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Required Skills/Experience:
Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Turnitin) and academic tools
Experience supporting postgraduate students or research activities isadvantageous
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with a diverse postgraduate cohort
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of academic integrity and research ethics
Commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence
Respectful of cultural diversity and commitment toTeTiritio Waitangi principles
