Yoobee Colleges Christchurch campus is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the Master in Business Informatics. This fixed-term, part-time role supports delivery of high-quality teaching, student engagement, and academic administration for postgraduate studies.
You will work 13 hours per week (3 hours on Friday, 5 hours on Saturday, 5 hours on Sunday), assist lecturers in labs and tutorials, and help students with tools, platforms, and coursework in software engineering and business informatics.

Please note: This is a fixed-term, part-time role working 13 hours per week: 3 hours on Friday, 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday.
The Teaching Assistant will assist in the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning support, and student engagement for the Master in Business Informatics Programme. The Teaching Assistant will support lecturers and students to foster a positive and effective academic environment, contribute to the administrative and practical aspects of teaching, and uphold academic standards aligned with Yoobee’s values and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Turnitin) and academic tools
Experience supporting postgraduate students or research activities isadvantageous
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with a diverse postgraduate cohort
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of academic integrity and research ethics
Commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence
