Yoobee Colleges seeks a part-time Teaching Assistant for the Master of Management programme at the Christchurch Colombo Street Campus. You will support delivery of teaching, student engagement, and learning activities, working with lecturers to foster a positive academic environment.

The role involves assisting with tutorials, grading support, and setting up online platforms, with weekend/evening sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related discipline is essential.
• Experience assisting teaching, tutoring, or mentoring preferred.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and academic tools is expected.
• Experience supporting postgraduate students is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lecturers with classroom prep, tutorials, and lab sessions.
• Provide student support during and outside class hours.
• Guide students in using software engineering and business informatics tools.
• Assist with grading, moderation prep, and admin follow-up.
• Help organize presentations, milestones, and assessment events.
• Set up online platforms, channels, and class resources.
• Attend classes on weekends or evenings as required.
• Identify students needing additional support and refer appropriately.
