Avonside Girls’ High School/ Te Kura Kohine Ōtākaro is seeking an experienced teacher to work in our Learning Support Department . The kaiako we are looking for will have experience in curriculum adaptation and also with the SPEC programme . In this role you will grow the use of SPEC in our school by working with a diverse group of akonga who need an alternative pathway through NCEA.

We are looking for a kaiako who is highly motivated, energetic and innovative and has strengths in literacy, numeracy and inquiry learning. This kaiako will be able to support students with life skills and teach a programme of study that enables them to make progress and achieve .
