IAG NZ is seeking a Tactical Forecaster Analyst to shape workforce planning in Auckland or Christchurch. This permanent, full-time role sits between strategic forecasting and day-to-day planning, offering room to influence how the function evolves and operates.

You will build new forecasting processes, partner with stakeholders, and work with Strategic Forecasters and Workforce Planning teams to improve accuracy and outcomes. This is a collaborative role in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Background in workforce management, workforce planning, forecasting, reporting, analytics or related discipline.
• Well-developed analytical capability with ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate across business areas.
• Advanced Excel skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical information into actionable insights.
• Curiosity, adaptability and continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes.
• Exposure to automation, AI, SQL or Python is advantageous.

• Develop and maintain tactical forecasts to ensure resources match customer demand.
