Job summary

Neocrete in Parnell, Auckland, is seeking a hands-on master's graduate for a six-month industry placement in our R&D testing team. The role focuses on testing concrete, analysing results and preparing reports that support our low-carbon additive technology.

You'll gain exposure to a fast-growing start-up culture, collaborative teamwork, and practical lab work, with opportunities to contribute to market-ready solutions while developing data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree completed within the last 12 months (NZQA Level 9 or 10).
• NZ citizen or master’s from a NZ university or tertiary institution.
• Thesis submitted for marking or taught master’s completed less than 12 months ago.
• Experience with concrete testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete materials and analyse results to inform customer reports.
• Contribute to reports that influence technology adoption and product development.
• Operate in a fast-growing startup lab with a collaborative team culture.
• Follow standard procedures and maintain lab safety.
