Sika Auckland is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Technical team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role focuses on concrete testing, quality control, and supporting product development, trials, and documentation in a practical laboratory setting.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and recording results.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in a laboratory or concrete environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and batch concrete, mortar, grout, fibre, and admixture trial mixes.
• Conduct fresh concrete testing, including slump, flow, air content, density, temperature, and workability assessments.
• Prepare, cure, and test concrete specimens in accordance with relevant standards.
• Accurately record and report test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and consumables.
• Support quality control processes and laboratory documentation requirements.
• Assist with product evaluations, customer demonstrations, and technical investigations.
• Contribute to workplace health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
