Job summary

Neocrete is offering a hands-on lab internship in Auckland (Parnell) for 10 weeks, 400 hours from November to March. The paid internship provides real-world experience in concrete testing, data analysis, and startup environment exposure.

Eligible candidates are final-year or recent graduates in science or engineering, with a keen interest in sustainability and innovation. This paid internship could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate, and has growth opportunities within a deep-tech

Qualifications

• Final year or recent bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• Experience with concrete testing is preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a collaborative team and in a lab.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is in their final year, or recently finished a bachelor of science or engineering
• Has experience with concrete testing (preferred but not necessary)
• Works well in a collaborative team setting
• Is comfortable with hands-on practical work in a lab. (e.g. mixing concrete)
• Excited by working in a startup atmosphere where things move quickly and change often
• Has strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Is comfortable with basic Excel and data analysis
• Can follow standard procedures and work safely in a lab environment

Location: Auckland- Parnell

Time frame: November to Start of March, (10 Weeks, 400 hours), starting date Flexible.

Pay: $29.90 per hour

To be eligible you must:

• Have just completed or be in the final year of your undergraduate or postgraduate degree or qualification atNZQA level 7-10
• Be studyingengineering, technology or science at a NZ tertiary education institute
• Be legally permitted to work in NZ
• Have good spoken/written English
• A hands-on mentality, a love for innovation and a desire to learn.

This is a MBIE sponsored internship
