Job summary

Master Builders Solutions New Zealand in Albany, Auckland, is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. You will prepare and test mortar and concrete samples, maintain equipment, and support quality, research and product evaluation in a safety‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory testing or materials testing.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Understanding of laboratory procedures and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test mortar and concrete samples per NZ/AU standards.
• Evaluate admixtures and construction materials.
• Operate lab mixing and testing equipment.
• Prepare, cure and store test specimens.
• Ensure traceability through accurate sample identification and records.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment calibration.
• Coordinate sample preparation, labeling and dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment.
• Support R&D projects through testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with technical, operations and sales teams.
