Job summary

Civtec Ltd. is seeking an experienced Surface Reinstatement Technician to join our Christchurch team. You will undertake reinstatement of surfaces using top soil, grass, concrete and asphalt, applying finishing touches to meet design specifications.

Health and safety of staff is paramount. We value practical hands-on workers who take pride in quality workmanship, have a full class 1 licence (class 2 preferred), and are willing to learn and contribute to a supportive crew culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with concrete and asphalt.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Physically fit with an excellent work ethic.
• Honest and reliable.
• Willingness to learn.
• Full class 1 drivers licence, class 2 is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Reinstatement of surfaces using top soil and grass, concrete and asphalt.
• Place, spread, cut, finish concrete and asphalt.
• Undertake tasks assigned by the Supervisor ensuring quality per design specification.

The role:

We are seeking an experienced Surface Reinstatement Technician to join our Christchurch Team. As a Surface Reinstatement Technician, you will work within our multi-dimensional civil works team. You will be involved in reinstatement of surfaces using various materials such as top soil and grass, concrete and asphalt. You will be experienced in placing, spreading, cutting, finishing and all aspects of concrete, asphalt and reinstatement works. You will undertake tasks assigned by the Supervisor ensuring quality works are completed as per the design specification. The health, safety and the well being of our staff is paramount.
