Job summary

Select Recruitment in Dunedin is seeking a skilled and reliable Concreter to join a well-established civil construction team. If you have a strong background in concrete work and take pride in delivering quality finishes, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll contribute to a range of concrete and civil projects, performing placing, screeding, finishing, plastering, block laying and related masonry tasks, while upholding safety and working both independently and with the crew.

Qualifications

• Experience in concreting or civil construction.
• Finishing, plastering, or block laying experience appreciated.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and contribute positively within a team.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the crew, you'll be involved in a range of concrete and civil construction projects, ensuring work is completed to a high standard while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.

Key Duties

• Placing, screeding, and finishing concrete
• Carrying out trowel and detailed finishing work
• Concrete plastering and repairs
• Block laying and associated masonry tasks
• Assisting with a variety of civil construction activities
• Following site health and safety requirements at all times

Hours of Work
