Zusammenfassung

IDEA Services supports adults with intellectual disabilities to live in their own homes and participate in their communities. As a Support Worker you will provide night-time support, help with daily living, and assist clients with complex needs in Rotorua and surrounding areas.

We value a calm demeanour, strong communication, and reliability. Previous caregiving experience is preferred, and drivers license is essential. Flexible shifts including weekends and sleepovers are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work with adults with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Availability for flexible shifts, weekends and sleepovers.

Aufgaben

• Support people with intellectual disabilities in their own homes.
• Manage risk, ensure safety and provide night-time care.
• Assist with daily living tasks and goals in the community.
