IDEA Services seeks a dedicated Support Worker in Waikato to help adults with intellectual disabilities living at home. You will support clients through night-time routines, manage risk, and ensure safety while providing personalised care.

The role suits someone physically active with resilience and a calm approach to challenging behaviours. A valid NZ driver's license and the right to work in NZ are required. We offer hourly rates with progression opportunities.

Formación

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Able to work nights and weekends and sleepover shifts as required.
• Full NZ driver's license and right to work in NZ.

Responsabilidades

• Support clients with intellectual disabilities during night shifts, manage risk and ensure safety.
• Provide individual personal care and respond to challenging behaviours with a calm approach.
• Use computers/tablets daily to document care and communicate with the team.
