HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. We are currently looking for Casual Support Workers from Alexandra to assist clients with daily living and personal goals during the Holiday period.

You will work as part of a wider team, following a care plan to help clients live independently at home, performing practical and emotional support tasks.

Formación

• Excellent communication with clients and team
• Experience in healthcare or care-giving beneficial
• Own reliable transport and valid NZ driver's licence preferred

What does a Support Worker do?

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
• Home management
