Job summary

HealthCare NZ in Cromwell is seeking casual Support Workers for the holiday season to help clients with daily living and personal goals.

Join a dedicated team and follow care plans to support clients to live independently at home and in the community, including meals, outings and personal cares.

Availability Nov–Feb is essential, a full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport are preferred, and healthcare qualifications are advantageous.

We are currently looking forCasualSupport Workers from Cromwellto assist clients with daily living and personal goals during Holiday period.

What does a Support Worker do?

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
• Home management
