Job summary

HealthCare NZ is seeking casual Support Workers in Queenstown during the holiday season. You will assist clients with daily living and personal goals, following care plans and providing both practical and emotional support in clients’ homes and communities.

Earn between NZD 23.97–29.68 per hour depending on experience and qualifications; opportunities to gain NZQA qualifications fully funded within a supportive team environment.

• Most positions require a full NZ drivers' licence and your own reliable transport

We are currently looking for Casual Support Workers from Queenstown to assist clients with daily living and personal goals during Holiday period.

What does a Support Worker do?

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
• Home management
