Martin Brower ANZ is seeking a Storeperson to join our distribution centre team. The role involves precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, stock rotation, and loading deliveries.

You will support inventory checks, participate in recalls, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We value a team player with attention to detail, WHS and food safety awareness, and a readiness to work shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices.
• WHS and food safety principles are advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
• Pre-employment medical testing (including drug & alcohol) may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform general warehousing duties including picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
• Load trucks and manage incoming deliveries, assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Maintain positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and legislation.
• Participate in product recall procedures and use material handling equipment correctly.

Day to Day

• As a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator), your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Performing general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries
• Assisting with stock rotation as well as inventory and cycle count procedures
• Maintaining positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management
• Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and relevant legislation
• Participating in product recall procedures and using all material handling equipment correctly

About You

• A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices
• Reliable with a positive demeanour
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed
• Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high- reach would be advantageous
• Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing
