Martin Brower ANZ is hiring a Storeperson at our Canterbury DC. You will perform warehousing duties, picking dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing and rotating stock, and loading trucks.

We value safety, teamwork and reliable individuals. WHS knowledge is a plus, forklift licence is advantageous. Shift work and overtime may be required; pre-employment medical testing applies.

Qualifications

• Team player with attention to detail and safe-work mindset.
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
• Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high-reach is advantageous.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
• Knowledge of WHS and food safety is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing deliveries.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory/cycle counts.
• Maintain positive communication with customers, co-workers and management.

Day to Day you will:

• As a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator), your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Performing general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries
• Assisting with stock rotation as well as inventory and cycle count procedures
• Maintaining positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management
• Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and relevant legislation
• Participating in product recall procedures and using all material handling equipment correctly

About You:

• A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices
• Reliable with a positive demeanour
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed
• Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high- reach would be advantageous
• Ability to meet the role requirements and undertake pre-employment medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing
