Job summary

Martin Brower ANZ is seeking a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator) to join our Distribution Centre. You will perform warehousing duties, including picking dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, rotating stock, and loading trucks.

We value safety, teamwork and reliable colleagues. WHS knowledge and forklift experience are advantageous, with shift work and pre-employment medicals as part of our process.

Qualifications

• Team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices.
• Reliable with a positive demeanour.
• WHS knowledge and food safety principles is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
• Forklift licence/certificate (MHE) including high-reach would be advantageous.
• Pre-employment medical (including Drug and alcohol) testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties, including picking dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing deliveries.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory and cycle counts.
• Maintain communication with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with guidelines and legislation.
• Participate in product recall procedures and use equipment correctly.

Day to Day you will:

• As a Storeperson (Warehouse Operator), your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Performing general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries
• Assisting with stock rotation as well as inventory and cycle count procedures
• Maintaining positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management
• Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and relevant legislation
• Participating in product recall procedures and using all material handling equipment correctly

About You:

• A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices

• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage
• Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed
